About Homeland Inspection Services

Chris Elliot, owner Homeland Inspection ServicesChris Elliott is not only the President of Homeland Inspection Services, but is also an industry veteran with 32 years in residential and commercial construction. Chris provides “a solid combination of expertise and hands-on experience.”

Chris is certified through Inspector Training Associates and a member of the Northern Colorado Chapter of ASHI. Specializing in residential inspections and certified moisture analysis, Homeland Inspection Services offers environmental testing for radon, and covers the northern Colorado counties of Larimer and Weld. Our company has been in this area for over 18 years and are very familiar with the problems that might occur in the area.

“We encourage our clients to accompany the inspector during the inspection,” emphasizes Chris, adding, “It is a valuable learning experience during which we can answer questions on the spot and provide prevention and maintenance tips. It also helps clients visualize the reports, which are provided on-site and use the Matrix Deluxe on-site reporting system, with detailed explanations and photos. Also, our reports recommend any needed corrections to the property.”

The inspections do not stop with the walk-through. “We encourage clients to phone us with questions at any time. Homeland Inspection Services offers complementary phone advice for as long as they own their homes.”

Homeland Inspection Services requests at least 48 hours’ advance notice for an inspection but can accommodate emergency situations.

Chris offers that his company is different from other inspectors, “Much of our work is word-of-mouth referral and repeat business from satisfied customers, which is very gratifying,” he responds. “We’re quite knowledgeable about homes after all these years, and are considered thorough, professional, and personable in working well with people [please read our Client Testimonials on this site].

“Buying or marketing a house is one of the most important financial investments and emotional decisions anyone can make. Homeland Inspection Services is here to share our knowledge and give our clients confidence and control before, during, and after the negotiation process.”
